A soccer commentator has had his World Cup accreditation revoked by FIFA after an expletive-laden rant against the governing body and match officials during Paraguay’s 1-0 win over Turkey on Friday.

Jorge Chipi Vera, a Paraguayan broadcaster who works for ABC Carnival and ABC TV, appeared to lose his composure when Miguel Almirón became the first player to be sent off for saying something when covering his mouth.

Vera called Gianni Infantino, the FIFA president, and Ivan Barton, the match referee, “f—ing thieves” during his rant, and also accused them of “killing football”. He also used the term “sons of b—-es” more than 20 times.
